The administrative and finance department is responsible for the following:
- Accounting and financial matters of the Road Commission.
- Providing general accounting services for all Road Commission departments.
- Making payments to contractors and suppliers.
- Collecting payments due the Road Commission.
- Preparing employee compensation.
- Safeguarding of all assets and records of the Road Commission.
- Providing information for various annual reports including the audit, Act 51 Report and the Road Commission Annual Report.
- Conducting annual inventory of parts, equipment and materials.
- Preparation of revenue projections and expenditure figures.
- Personnel matters, employee benefits, employee relations and other administrative functions.
The employees of the Administrative and Finance Department work under the direct supervision of the Finance Director Danean Wright 989-686-4610 ext. 223.
